Nick Rainier / Implementation and Customer Onboarding

Complexity is where I come alive.

Eight years of enterprise onboarding, data migration and go-live across financial services, fintech, healthcare, and the SaaS platforms behind them.

  • 100M+

records migrated, across ports of 75+ tables

  • ~20

    concurrent institutional client relationships onboarded

  • ~40%

faster from signed deal to live revenue

Work

Nimbis Designs - Enterprise CRM migrations

I moved client systems holding 100M+ records across 75+ tables onto new platforms, owning the source-to-target field mapping, reconciling every load against control totals, and running the test cycle with the client until they signed off. Healthcare clients meant claims and eligibility data, so the mapping had to be exact.

Pagaya Technologies - Bank and fintech partner launches

I ran partner onboarding from signed deal through executive go-live review, including a co-branded credit card program with a national bank and a hotel brand. Tightening the handoffs between contract execution and live revenue cut activation time by about 40%.

JPMorgan Securities - Institutional client onboarding

Across roughly 20 hedge fund and institutional relationships, I defined what reporting each client needed, who received it - the fund or its custodian - and how it was routed. Deliverables scaled with each fund's asset mix rather than with headcount, and delivery time came down by about half.

About

I work at the seam between what a client says they need and a system that has to actually do it - scoping it, mapping the data, writing the rules down, and owning the gate before anything goes live. Eight years of that across institutional finance, consumer fintech and healthcare. Cornell economics, and a product management credential from eCornell.

Based in Oceanside, California. I work Pacific hours, remote or on-site around San Diego, and travel to clients when the work calls for it. Outside work I'm usually outdoors - 38 of the 63 national parks so far, and an Eagle Scout a long way before that.
